View Greens

The picture below of the bowling greens comes from one of the two fixed mounted cameras positioned outside the Club's lounge. The cameras are operational daily from 5:00am to 9:00pm and take a snapshot every 60 seconds. The time the picture was taken is displayed in the right upper corner.

Guidelines:

This page has a Selections section on the left hand side with the following menus.

• Green selection: allows selection of one of the two greens A or B.
• Day Menu: allows selection of all the pictures taken during the last 7 days. When one of these days is selected you may select any of the time lapse options.
• Pictures Menu: allows selection of the most recent picture or one of the time lapse views taken by this green's camera. You can traverse a time lapse period by moving the cursor horizontally over the picture. For 30 minutes and 1 hour selections, all 30, or all 60, pictures are downloaded into memory for quick display. For the 2, 4, 8, 12 hour and the Since 5:00am selections, 60 pictures will be selected over the time range.
• Time Menu: allows selection of 60 consecutive pictures; 30 on each side of the time selected.
• Live View: allows looking at a game in real time. The view times out after 20 minutes, although it may be refreshed.

At 4:00am daily all the previous day's pictures will be archived on our server for 7 days. The default view in the summer months from 1 September is Green A and in the winter months from 1 May is Green B.

Publication:

All personnel are advised that there are other cameras around the Green in use and the Lincoln Bowling Club may live stream or broadcast events, matches, tournaments, or other activities where you may be present. Your Image may appear in these live broadcasts and related promotional materials.

Weather:

The Weather top menu item allows selection of a Private Weather Station just a short distance from the club; Met Service weather for Lincoln; NZTA traffic Cameras in Canterbury. The Blue weather widget (upper right) displays the current condition in Lincoln - data is sourced from local weather stations.
