The club will be open its doors to all of the community on Monday evenings from 3.00 to 7.00pm commencing 18 October until Christmas. There is no set time to start on a Monday - you don't need to come as a team, we will do that for you - just rock up and play.

Monday afternoons and evenings has traditionally been the coaching time for new bowlers. The coachers Denis Smith, Lyndsey Withell and Maurice Phiskie would like to see more new bowlers having a go.

Monday evenings is open to all of the community - the first night is free and thereafter $5 per head for non members. Loan bowls are available and flat sole footwear is recommended. The bar will be open with food available. A casual and fun evening is assured. Just turn up and we will arrange a game for you.

In mid January we will continue with the very popular Community Bowls that attracts over 120 players. We are an expanding club and have excellent facilities and it is the club's 75th jubilee this year.

Bowls can be played competitively and/or socially at all levels of ability. We have a Ladies’ day on Wednesday mornings and Men’s on Thursday afternoons, during the summer season, along with club events at the weekends. Interclub competitions for town and district commence at the end of the month

A very good help file has been prepared by Bill Wilson and it can be found at the following link:- Help File

If you or your team win a significant bowling event, then please send in a photo of your team with the trophy. This may be used on the website and/or for an ongoing archive of club successes.

A significant event is typically a Club Championship, Champions of Champions, Pennant, Interclub, Regional or National competition or other prestigious event (e.g. West Coast Fours).

The photo should be of good quality with the light source behind the camera or phone. Avoid flash if possible. The presenter of the trophy should not normally be included. Please email the original file (not cropped or resampled). In the email please include the full title of the competition, the date, the place and the full names of the team in left to right order in the photo, with (s) to nominate the skip.

When selecting pictures for publication the editors decision is final. Please send the photo file as an email attachment (e.g. not embedded in the text) to email: it@lincolnbowlingclub.com

Thank you, Dave Grey (18/10/21)
