HIRE OUR FACILITIES

Our Club House and other facilities are available for hire for all types of suitable events.  The Club House is fitting for a wide range of functions and you can arrange the tables and seating for either formal or informal meetings. The Hire can include a combination of the Club House, Bowling Greens, Bar Service and/or Kitchens.  The Greens are available, if required, for casual bowling, organised group sessions or corporate functions. 
If required, the kitchen and crockery/cutlery are available to users. Also, access can be provided for your food caterer, or you can supply your own food.

The bar service of alcoholic and soft drinks can be provided, if required, on a Cash, EFTPOS or ‘Dry Till’ basis. All liquor licence conditions must be met. It is not permitted to bring your own alcohol onto the site, but the bar manager may be able to bring in special drinks on request. 

For social functions encompassing bowling, the "per bowler" green hire fee provides you with access to our facilities, which includes the bar. However, if your function is for specific Club House usage, then you will require a special bar licence, which we can organise, and this will take up to 20 working days to arrange. There is a standard cost structure for this license depending on numbers attending the function, and this is payable to the Selwyn District Council. It is normally best to contact Nicki Moen, the LBC House Convenor,  direct by email on nicki.moen@xtra.co.nz, to provide some details on your proposed function and the hire of the club facilities and social gathering options available before filling in the form.

The rear entrance to the club on North Belt is near the Kitchen and can be very useful to Caterers.
